Hey, I’m Ethan.
I’m a passionate community builder, creative marketer, pro musician, entrepreneur, and irreverent thinker.
My work has always been built around my personal passions and journey, and using storytelling to connect with others on their path.
From thousands of people attending wellness programs I developed and marketed for Blue Zones…
… to storytelling through The True Health Podcast, with listeners in 40+ countries…
…to a 130-pound personal weight loss journey inspiring me to launch an Integrative Health Coaching practice and help hundreds of people…
…to studying at Berklee College of Music, and becoming both a pro drummer and owner of a music management firm for a decade.
I’ve spent my life following my curiosity, and then creating a wide range of programs, campaigns, content, events and music that may seem like separate things on the surface, but ultimately they all have one thing in common:
I want to make people feel things.
Music Career
Ethan Schiff is a professional drummer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, active in a wide range of genres, but primarily funk, soul, hip hop, afrobeat and electronic music.
He began playing drums while still in diapers (literally), and studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, with a focus on funk and hip hop drumming and studying under legends like Kenwood Dennard (Sting, Maceo Parker, Stanley Jordan) and Tony Thunder Smith (Lou Reed).
Known for an undeniable “pocket”, his deep sense of groove will support every other player on stage, and make everyone in the room feel better.
A decade of experience as a talent manager only helps his understanding of the larger vision of the artists he now plays with.
He performs all over the Bay Area and beyond with countless artists, and is also a regularly hired musician for wedding/corporate event companies like Lucky Devils Band, Golden Bell, and Sounds Elevated.
